How to read these Tables. Each day gives the lessons for Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer.
Most Sundays and greater Holy Days carry a two-year provision (Year One, Year Two);
the numbered Sundays after Trinity — and the Sunday after Ascension — add a third line, an alternative for Year Two (II alt).

- Lessons from the Apocrypha are set in italics, after the manner of the printed book.
- Daggers and bars († ‖ ¶ ‡) are the book’s own footnotes; their meaning is given with each season below.
